We didn't have a name or a site until November 2014, but we did have a vision. Through a large part of 2015/2016 donations had to be halted. I have learned to divide the donations between Canadian and Regional in South West Ontario and internationally. Local donations are listed below our global reach. Links are to facebook pages or the web sites. We have a number of ongoing projects that will be listed first.
***Please note that I do not include any fees for U.S. convertion. This would be so very difficult to keep track of and so it is just something my husband and I cover.

MAP was sued 3 times over the way they accounted for how they could give x 60. All the suits seem to have been settled out of court and appear to be hushed. Once I discovered this had happened I stopped giving to this charity though they are still very highly ranked at Charity Navigator. It should have been worded that for every private dollar donation there were supports in place to get $60.00 worth of resources to match it. Though please be aware it is still listed in the stats and has a huge impact on our bottom lines.
ECOSIASwich your default search engine to Ecosia and you will help plant trees all over the world.
As of August 2019 we have helped to plant 7,303 trees (140 trees we have planted on our own. It takes 52 searches to plant one tree.) |
GREATER GOOD GIFTS THAT GIVE MORE
Greater Good allows us to contribute to approximately 200 different projects with very low investments needed. (As low as just $1.00 All fees are paid by Greater Good retail sales. Some numbers represent exactly what you get for your donation and others represent the project/program.
QUICK CLICKS
These are some of the buttons that can be quanified. I stopped attempting to keep track of how we are able to track this. I can say that I have been pressing these buttons very consistantly for over 6 years now, daily. The figures posted below are calculated at 5 years (1825 days) and are my personal stats. These are some of the buttons that can be quanified.
CARE BUTTERFLY POINTS
Each month I use my CARE points to donate 10 days of clean water and remove 40lbs of carbon from the atmosphere. This now represents approx. 500 days of clean water I have been able to provide. And 73,000 lbs of carbon offset.
After many many years CARE has closed this portion of their web site.
